'Mad Science Foundation'
Produktbeschreibung
' Throughout history, mad scientists have grappled with a common predicament – their dire shortage of access to the perilous resources essential for their bizarre experiments. To address this quandary, the Mad Science Foundation was established, offering these \"misunderstood geniuses\"" the much-needed access to four crucial components of their chaotic craft: Lasers, Dark Matter, Cryptomium, and Sharks. Yet, for every mad scientist seeking \""funding\"" from the Mad Science Foundation, a vexing reality persists – mad scientists are notorious for their inability to play well with others. In their relentless pursuit of notoriety, directors will be swayed, resources will be reallocated, spies will be dispatched, inventions will be sabotaged, and ominous buttons will be pressed, often with catastrophic results. Welcome to the Mad Science Foundation, a realm where betrayal and elaborate backstabbing contraptions reign supreme. At its core, Mad Science Foundation is a drafting game, where you must gather resources to concoct outlandish inventions and dispatch minions to assist in your diabolical schemes. Each round, a different player takes on the role of the Crooked Director. Their responsibility is to divide the available commodities into piles for drafting, and they wield the power to determine the worth of the resources within each pile. Not all piles are created equal, and sizing up your competition is paramount. You know what your rivals require, so dont let them have it. Alternatively, present them with two equally undesirable choices. However, beware that each player harbors a secret side objective, which might not become apparent until its too late. By crafting new inventions, you can potentially create an engine of cards that perpetually fuels itself – achieving the elusive goal of perpetual motion. Alternatively, you may stockpile valuable resources for future exploitation. All these endeavors are guided by the altruistic objectives of megalomania and personal glory. What could possibly go wrong? The Mad Science Foundation is not responsible for stock market crashes, illegal dumping, or tears in the fabric of space-time. '"
